Chongqing Hospital of Jiangsu Province Hospital to settle down in Qijiang, expected to be put into use by the end of 2024

The Chongqing Hospital of Jiangsu Province Hospital has a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan and 1,000 planned beds. It is expected to be put into use by the end of 2024. The main research direction is cardiovascular, integrating cardiosurgery, oncology, rehabilitation and other disciplines. It will operate and develop homogeneously with Jiangsu Province Hospital, fully introduce advantageous disciplines and management teams, fully implement new management, new technologies, new methods and new materials, improve the overall diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in the western region, and let more people enjoy the national first-class medical services nearby.

In order to allow high-quality medical resources of Jiangsu Province Hospital to be settled as soon as possible, the "transition hospital area + new hospital area" mode was adopted to rapidly start the construction of hospital. The transition hospital has been put into use in October 2022, and the departments of cardiovascular medicine, cardiac surgery and oncology have been opened for consultation. The new hospital area is located in the smart new town in the north of Qijiang. The scheme design has been completed, and the earth-rock work works are under way. The construction of main building is planned to conduct recently.

Chongqing Hospital of Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine operates in accordance with the mode of "mainly built by the People's Government of Yongchuan District and mainly managed by Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine".

The project is located at the west side of Changlong Avenue, Phoenix Lake Industrial Park, Yongchuan District, Chongqing, covering an area of approximately 130 mu, a building area of 210,000 square meters, and a total investment of 2 billion yuan, which will gradually build five major medical centers for CTM gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiovascular disease, spleen and stomach disease, and kidney disease.

The first phase of Chongqing Hospital of Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine has been put into operation in August 2022. Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has carried out work in construction of key disciplines such as gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, nephrology, etc. in Yongchuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, attracting patients from multiple districts and counties in Sichuan and Chongqing to come for medical treatment, forming good social benefits and radiation effects in the region. The second phase of the project has been commenced in August 2022, mainly for the construction of internal and external hospital building, TCM medical technology building, infectious disease building and related supporting facilities. At present, it has entered the construction phase of the main body works and is expected to be completed in August 2024.

Chongqing Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine settles down in Beibei, and to be put into use in 2025

Chongqing Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, as the fourth batch of national and regional medical center construction projects, relies on Beibei Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital, Chongqing, and is fully operated and managed by the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine as the output hospital.

The project includes the existing hospital area and the newly built hospital area. The newly built hospital area (Caijia Hospital Area of Beibei Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital) is located in Caijia Smart New City, Beibei District, Chongqing, with a land area of 130 mu, a total construction area of 176,000 square meters, a planned investment of approximately 1.3 billion yuan, and 1000 beds. It is planned to be put into use in 2025 and to build a national and regional medical center with TCM oncology as the core, cardiovascular, brain disease and other disciplines developing together.

At present, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine has dispatched more than 40 management and technical team members to take over the existing hospital area of Beibei Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital, Chongqing and has received more than 200 backbone members of Beibei Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine for further study.

Chongqing Hospital of Union Hospital Tongji Medical College Huazhong University of Science and Technology expected to be put into use by the end of 2025

In May 2022, the project was approved to be included in the third batch of national regional medical center construction projects, and it is the only comprehensive hospital among the approved projects in Chongqing. The total investment of the project is 4.5 billion yuan. The first phase covers an area of 210 mu, with a total construction scale of 380,000 square meters and 1500 planned beds. It is expected to be put into use by the end of 2025.

Union Hospital Tongji Medical College Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Liangjiang New Area join together and cooperate closely to speed up the expansion of high-quality medical resources, to balance regional layout, and to create the "Chongqing sample" of the national regional medical center to meet the needs of the masses to enjoy high-quality medical services nearby.
