The operation section is from Jiaochangkou to Tiantangbao.

The new 2 8-coach trains are the “2022 version” new vehicles of CRT Line 2. The train adopts drum body and streamlined head and body design, which looks longer and more flexible than the previous 6-coach trains. The maximum passenger capacity of the train is 1,802 people, 460 more than that of 6-coach trains. A 43.1-inch dynamic map display screen is added above the door, and a new arrival display is equipped above the inner-carriage connection. The hardware facilities are also more user-friendly.

After the adjustment of operation number of 8-coach trains, the planned hourly section capacity of CRT Line 2 in peak hours will increase by 962 people per hour, with an increase rate of 4.8%, among which the planned section capacity of the core section in peak hours will increase to 20,900 people per hour.
