CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Reporter learned from Chongqing City Transportation Development & Investment Group Co., Ltd. that since February 6, the full line network of Chongqing rail transit realized the function of entering the station with UnionPay QuickPass card, and passengers can hold this kind of bank card at the automatic ticket checker to tap the card into the station, which means rail transit payment mode is more diversified and humanized.

Tips for passengers, the bank card that supports taping the card to enter the station shall be the UnionPay IC debit card and credit card with the function of QuickPass (the card covers the words “闪付” in Chinese and “QuickPass” in English). The card should have been opened to support password-free, signature-free and pre-authorization (please consult the issuing bank for the opening information).

When passengers are entering or leaving the station, the bank card can be placed in the sensing area of the AGM (the same as the card swiping place of Payeasy), and then the gate can be authorized to be opened. Moreover, the passenger can also bind the bank card with QuickPass function through the mobile phone NFC to realize passing by taping the mobile phone NFC card.

According to the current fare policy, in order to ensure that there is enough money in the bank card used for card entry to complete the settlement of one trip, the balance in the card shall not be less than RMB 21 before being authorized to enter the station.

It should be noted that when passengers enter the station, the bank card prompts to consume RMB 21, which is actually the amount frozen in the bank backstage card of RMB 21. When the passengers tap the card at the exit, the expense will be settled according to the actual fare and the balance will be returned. When you use the bank card to tap the card to enter the station, the fare standard shall be implemented according to the basic fare system of Chongqing rail transit, and there is no preferential fare policy.

At present, the entering modes of Chongqing rail transit mainly include physical ticket (single-trip ticket, one-day ticket and scheduled ticket), Payeasy, boarding QR code (“CRT” APP, WeChat, Alipay, UnionPay Cloud QuickPass) and mobile phone NFC bound with electronic Payeasy.
