CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Thousands of red plum on the Shaci trail in the Hongyan Scenic Spot, Shapingba District have been in blossom recently, indicative of the approaching spring.

The lush Gele Mountain, filled with clusters of plum flowers, seems like a dreamy pink ocean. To enhance the image of the scenic spot, the Shapingba government has created red plum forests with an area of around 50,000 square meters. The red plum forests are mainly distributed on the east side of the Baigongguang, the south side of the Zhazidong, and along the line from the Baigongguang to the Zhazidong in the Hongyan Scenic Spot over the Gele Mountain. They are connected to form a ring by the Shaci trail.

The peak blossom of red plum flowers usually arrives in early February and lasts about half a month. All good things come with beautiful blossoms.
