CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On February 8, Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Statistics announced the GDP and its growth rate of each district and county of Chongqing in 2022.

In terms of total volume, the top 5 are Yubei District, Jiulongpo District, Jiangbei District, Yuzhong District and Fuling District, all of which having exceeded RMB 150 billion; Yubei District continues to be the first and is the only district with GDP exceeding RMB 200 billion; there are 11 districts and counties with GDP exceeding RMB 100 billion. Among them, Banan District surpasses Hechuan District and ranks in the top 10; apart from the central urban area, Fuling District, Jiangjin District, Yongchuan District have maintained the top three.

In terms of growth rate, Dadukou District and Yunyang County witnessed the fastest growth rate, with a year-on-year growth rate of 4.7%, and the growth rate of places such as Kaizhou District, Liangping District, Wushan District exceeds 4%; Beibei District has a negative growth rate of 0.9%, which is the only one with negative growth.
