CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- With the various industries gradually returning to work, passenger flow of Chongqing rail transit continued to increase. Recently, the daily passenger flow of Chongqing rail network has reached 4.243 million person-times, a record high, and the daily passenger traffic volume of Chongqing urban public transport has recovered to 8 million person-times.

Previously, the daily passenger traffic peak of Chongqing rail transit network appeared on April 30, 2021, reaching 4.169 million person-times. The new record 4.243 million person-times reached this time, increases at 1.78% than the previous record.

According to the introduction, as the backbone of public transport and the city image window, Chongqing rail transit undertakes the important task of citizen travelling. With the opening of CRT Line 9 Phase II and CRT Line 10 Phase II on January 18, Chongqing Rail Transit Network has been further improved. On this basis, the commuting passenger flow and the Spring Festival passenger flow are superposed, and Chongqing Rail Transit welcomes the passenger flow breakthrough this time.

With the sudden large passenger flow, Chongqing Rail Transit (Group) will optimize the traffic organization, shorten the departure interval and provide sufficient personnel according to the site conditions. Through dynamic adjustment of the transport capacity, Chongqing Rail Transit (Group) will meet the travel needs of the citizens and smoothly complete the passenger transport organization.
