At present, the metal roof construction of T3B terminal has been started.

T3B Terminal Project of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport is located about 2km away from the north of T3A terminal in the east terminal area of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. It is the largest single satellite hall in the world, and its building area is about 360,000 square meters, with 4 floors above the ground and 2 floors underground. It is undertaken by China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Co., Ltd.

At that time, Jiangbei International Airport will have 4 runways and 4 terminal buildings to meet the annual passenger throughput of 80 million person-times, take-off and landing of 580,000 aircraft and cargo and mail throughput of 1.2 million tons, which will further improve the operation support capability and the convenience of Chongqing Airport, and promote the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing world-class airport cluster and Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
