CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Chongqing Tongliang Dragon Marathon 2023, the first race of marathon in Chongqing this year, began on February 26. Led by the Olympic champion Wang Liping, 1,000 runners were marching together toward the promising springtime.

Certified by the Chinese Athletic Association and under the guidance of the Chongqing Administration of Sports, the Chongqing Tongliang Dragon Marathon 2023 was hosted by the People's Government of Tongliang District with three competition forms: marathon, half marathon, and mini/parent-child marathon. Participants ran through the synthetic racetrack around Xuantian Lake, Xijiao Greenway, Colorful Dream Garden, Yuanxiang Central Park, and other special scenic spots and enjoyed the vitality and beauty of Tongliang during the event.
