CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- It has been nearly 3 months since the construction of Chongqing Longxing Football Stadium was fully completed. What does the stadium look like? How is it different from other normal football stadiums? Does it meet the standards for holding matches, concerts, etc.? Recently, the reporter went to the Chongqing Longxing Football Stadium located in Liangjiang New Area to have a vist.

The Longxing Football Stadium can be regarded as one of the largest professional football stadiums in China in terms of the floor area or the building area. Compared to the complex stadiums, the auditorium is closer to the football field.

Reportedly, tracks, semi-circle areas, etc. for track and field events have been removed from the professional stadium, leaving its infield area accounting for about half of that of the complex stadiums. Meanwhile, Longxing Football Stadium was designed to shorten the distance between the spectators stand and the pitch and keep the first row of the crow as close to the boundary of the pitch as FIFA required.

The reporter found at the stadium that on one side of the goal, the boundary of the pitch is only seven or eight steps away from the stand. On the other sides, the boundary is about ten steps away from the stand due to the substitutes benches.

Standing at the lawn, all the places in sight are full of spectator seats, which are much closer than those of complex stadiums obviously. It can be imagined that players can hear the shouts, chants and cheers from their fans more clearly in the future matches. Visiting players may face greater pressure and tests at the key football matches.

The stand for the fans of the home team is an important part in the football culture. Longxing Football Stadium has an overall stand with nearly 10,000 seats, making it the biggest completed stand for “super fans” in China currently.

The stand face one of the goals allowing the spectators to catch the moment a goal is scored.

It is worth mentioning that the substitutes bench is next the stand without any distance between them, which also means that the spectators sitting in the front row may even hear the team's tactics, communication between players, shouting, etc. during the match.

In addition, in order to give the audience a better view, Longxing Football Field has raised the elevation difference of the row spacing to the maximum extent to meet the requirements of FIFA. The reporter walked around the spectator seats and found that most of the seats had a broad view. Even sitting at the seats on the third and fourth floors, the spectators would not feel it is distant.

Moreover, many VVIP seats are set up in the stadium in a small room covering an area of 20 to 30 square meters with a private bathroom. The side facing the pitch is transparent glass through which the fans who sitting inside can watch the game. They can also go out of the room or sit at the seats outside the room designed for VVIP fans to feel the scene atmosphere.

The reporter also found that many seats for the disabled are also set up in the stadium at the top of area of the spectator seats at each floor. Beside each seat is the area for placing a wheelchair. These fans can take the elevator directly to their floor, which is only a few meters away, without climbing any steps or uphill.

As Longxing Football Stadium can accommodate up to 60000 fans, bathrooms can be seen everywhere in the stadium, almost every few dozens of meters.
