Chongqing releases flower map for residents to enjoy spring

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As springtime approaches, Chongqing Institute of Landscape Architecture released Chongqing’s Flower Map for 2023 recently, which provides visitors with detailed information on typical flower attractions in Chongqing.

The flower map is accessible on an HTML5 app. Visitors can scan the QR code below to check the map and enjoy the spring tour in Chongqing.

With the flower map on phone, visitors can easily find the best place to appreciate flowers no matter where they are. The map consists of three sections: the downtown area of Chongqing, northeast Chongqing, and southeast Chongqing, covering 105 flower attractions in 41 districts and counties (including Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing Wansheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, and High-Tech Industrial Development Zone) in Chongqing, such as urban parks, squares, flower and seedling bases, and rural tourist areas. The map also details the basic information of each flower attraction, flower varieties, flowering period, specific addresses of flower fields, the latest activities related to flower appreciation, and the meticulously selected venues for dining out.

During the period between February and May, visitors can view the information on 47 types of flowering plants including red plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, Meiren (prunus blireana), red-leaf plums, camellia, peach blossoms, Malus spectabilis, etc. Besides, 69 cultural activities will be held in 37 flower attractions for residents to gain a more wonderful floral trip in spring.
