CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to Chongqing Rail Transit (Group) Co., Ltd., to further promote Lei Feng's spirit under the master plan of “New Era, New Journey, and New Chongqing”, they gave full play to the trains of Chongqing Rail Transit (CRT) as part of the eye-catching urban landscape and launched the Lei Feng-themed train of Line 3 on March 5.

The Lei Feng-themed train has eight carriages, with train No. 03075. The whole train is elaborately decorated: there is the inscription “雷锋号” (Lei Feng) below the portrait of Lei Feng in front of the train; both sides of the first carriage are decorated with paper cuts of Chongqing landscapes with “新时代新征程新重” (New Era, New Journey, and New Chongqing) written on them; “奉献”“敬业”“创新”“奋斗”(devotion, dedication, innovation, and struggle) are printed below the portrait of Lei Feng on each side of the door. Each detail of the train decoration is conveying the connotation of Lei Feng’s spirit.

China’s first Lei Feng-themed train was launched in 2012 and ran on the CRT Line 2. Now, the fourth Lei Feng-themed train launched by Chongqing Rail Transit (Group) Co., Ltd. has been operative. It is believed that the operation of the Lei Feng-themed train will encourage the general public to assume social responsibilities and make contributions to the progress of social civilization.
