As one of the pilot schools for first-aid education designated by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, Southwest University aims for improving the first-aid facilities and equipment under new situations and circumstances. All public areas, such as sports fields and teaching buildings, have been equipped with more than 60 automatic external defibrillators to satisfy the need for first aid on campus.

Massage chairs, VR glasses, musical therapy rooms... The newly built Mental Health Education and Counseling Center at the Jinyun Campus of Chongqing Medical University aims to provide students and teachers with a “warm space for the soul”. It is learned that the upgraded center consists of 15 functional rooms, each of which is divided into a dynamic area and a static area and equipped with musical therapy rooms, massage chairs, space capsules, and game machines. The center is designed to offer proper solutions to different mental problems of students and carry out mental health education activities in a more considerate and scientific way.

The app We CUPT is upgraded in terms of UI, functions, and other details.

It’s learned that We CUPT, the mini app of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, is designed to provide students and teachers with convenient services so that they can keep up with campus news, announcements released by the academic affairs department, OA announcements, meeting notices, academic lectures, etc., preview and download attachments, and conduct affairs through the app.

Build an Innovation Center of Science and Technology with the Yongchuan government

The Innovation Center of Science and Technology, jointly developed by the Yongchuan People’s Government and Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences, has been put into use in the new semester.

With a total area of about 37,000 square meters, the Innovation Center of Science and Technology includes a key functional area, a business incubation area, and an innovative and entrepreneurial street of Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences. The center will integrate high-quality science and technology innovation resources of both Yongchuan People’s Government and Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences to promote the integral development of the enterprise innovation chain, industry chain, and talent chain, and help the modern industry with transformation and upgrading. Students can apply to the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to carry out shows and entrepreneurial activities in the Innovation Center of Science and Technology.

The Chaoxing intelligent library allows you to immerse yourself in books

As you step into the school library, you will be greeted with lines of Chaoxing “waterfall flow” electronic book-lending machines. In addition to book-lending services, those machines offer books, videos, special reports, periodicals, and other resources. It gives access to 50,000 e-books to satisfy readers' needs for online reading. It can also read for you as you click on it.

What’s more, there are several “Chaoxing Books” which use advanced e-ink screen technology to simulate the effect of paper books and protect readers' eyesight.
