CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The reporter learned from Chongqing Zoo that the names of a pigeon pair of panda cubs produced by the giant panda “Er Shun” were chosen by online voting. According to the final result, the brother is named “Yu Ke” and the younger sister “Yu Ai”.

The boy-girl twins, “Yu Ke” and “Yu Ai”, were born on July 22, 2022. The brother weighed 132 grams at birth and the sister 91 grams. With the love and care of breeders in Chongqing Zoo, the twin babies are coming on well and growing much lovelier.

During the Spring Festival in 2023, Chongqing Zoo asked for help to name a pigeon pair of panda cubs produced by the giant panda “Er Shun” and received 600 names from the masses. Then, ten names were carefully selected for the general public to choose from.
