CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The number of trans-provincial high-speed trains on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, connecting Hong Kong West Kowloon Station with 66 stations, will increase to 164 from 102 as of April 1, recovering to the level of 2019, according to the news released by China Railway on March 21. The direct high-speed trains running between Chongqing and Hong Kong will resume operation on April 1.

This will further satisfy the tourists’ demand for travel between the mainland and Hong Kong and promote economic communication and trade development between the two areas, said China Railway.

The 164 trans-provincial high-speed trains to resume full operation on April 1 include: 38 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Guangzhou South Station, 13 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Guangzhou East Station, 49 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Shenzhen North Station, 30 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Futian, 8 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Chaoshan, 2 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Shantou, 2 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Zhaoqing East Station, 2 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Changsha South Station, 2 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Beijing West Station, 2 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Kunming South Station, 2 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Shanghai Hongqiao, 2 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Tianjin West Station, 2 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Chongqing West Station, 2 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Nanning East Station, 2 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Fuzhou, and 6 trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Xiamen.

The tickets for the new 62 high-speed trains will be available from 6:00 on March 23.
