CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to the Aviation Logistics Division of Port Logistics Office of Chongqing Municipal Government, recently, Jiangbei Airport started implementing 2023 summer season flight plan.

The number of domestic waypoints is increased. Compared with last year on year-on-year basis, there are 11 new domestic waypoints including Chifeng, Wuhu, Datong, Gesar, Qinhuangdao, Chengde, Kuqa, Turpan, Heze, Ruoqiang and Shaoguan in 2023 summer season, and 144 domestic waypoints in total.

The main routes are optimized. In 2023 summer season, the service guarantee of “Chongqing Express Line” on routes from and to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen has been continuously improved, with special check-in counters, convenient security channels, and aircraft docking positions optimized to minimize passenger walking distance and boarding time.

The routes from and to Xinjiang and Tibet are increased. Xinjiang has three waypoints including Kuqa, Ruoqiang and Turpan, totaling 10 waypoints between Chongqing and Xinjiang. The flights from Chongqing to Lhasa are increased, up to 13 flights per day; and the flights from Chongqing to Urumqi, Lanzhou, Xining, Changchun and Changsha are increased to further strengthen connectivity with provincial capitals.
