Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport opens 11 new destinations

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport will launch new routes and increase the number of existing flights for the summer aviation season that began on March 26. The number of the airport’s domestic destinations will reach 144.
Compared with the summer aviation season in 2022, Jiangbei International Airport plans to open 11 new destinations for the 2023 summer season in Qingyang, Tangshan, Baoshan, Dunhuang, Ezhou’s HuaHu, Xilinhot, Xinzhou, Chenzhou, Longnan, Dongying and Hami, and increase the number of daily flights to over 960.
Jiangbei International Airport will continue to launch new flight routes to Xinjiang and Tibet. Up to 14 daily flights from Chongqing to Lhasa, and 10 daily flights between Chongqing to Urumqi will be available.
The reporter learned from the major ticketing platform that the one-way tickets from Chongqing to Haikou started at just 170 yuan per person, Chongqing-Nanjing tickets started at 375 yuan, and Chongqing-Kunming tickets started at 247 yuan. (The above prices did not include fuel charges)
In terms of international routes, Jiangbei International Airport will offer direct flights to Budapest, Rome, Madrid, Dubai, Seoul, Singapore, Bangkok, Vientiane, and other destinations.
