CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 2023 China-Singapore (Chongqing) Culture and Tourism Industry Alliance Tourism Product Launch & Reception was held in Chongqing, organized by the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Culture and Tourism Industry Alliance under the guidance of Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Development Commission and Singapore Tourism Board, kicked off at the Chongqing Window of International Culture and Tourism on March 29.

Founded in November 2022, China-Singapore (Chongqing) Culture and Tourism Industry Alliance is committed to establishing an open public service platform incorporating policy consultation, exhibition and marketing, learning and training, information exchange, and other services, which promotes a culture of resource integration and sharing, push forward cooperation between Chongqing and Singapore in the culture and tourism sector, and facilitate cultural exchanges between the two regions.

As the first member exchange since the establishment of the Alliance, this event has the full backing of the governments and member authorities of Chongqing and Singapore. More than 80 member authorities of the two regions participated in the event to seek opportunities for high-quality development of culture and tourism. Tang Weidong, deputy director of Chongqing Sino-Singapore Demonstration Project Management Bureau, hoped that the enterprises of both Chongqing and Singapore can get involved in active exchanges to promote the collaboration in cultural and tourism sectors. Xie Jinchuan, director of the west China branch of the Singapore Tourism Board, also expressed a wish that this event will facilitate exchanges between the Alliance members.
