Yubei: aim for cooperation with central government-owned enterprises

A conference for digital economic high-quality development and the signing event for major projects in the first quarter of 2023 was held in Yubei District on March 30. During the event, contracts were signed for a total of 25 investment projects with a total contract investment of 29.9 billion yuan, including 19 digital economy projects and central government-owned projects.

Yubei won another two investment projects of central government-owned enterprises: the CGN Wind Power Project with a planned investment of about 5 billion yuan to build a western base for clean energy development and green manufacturing in Yubei, and the project of China Unicom (western China) Digital Ecological Industrial Park.

Besides, the digital projects in great numbers and of high quality are another highlight of this investment project signing event.

On the same day, Yubei District also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the China Software Industry Association to introduce China Software Industry Association as a special advisory group for software industry development in Yubei District and set up a 500-million-yuan Chengdu-Chongqing collaborative innovation fund. At the same time, Yubei District released policies and measures to implement the "Starry Sky" action plan for the software and information service industry as well as a requirement list of supply capacity and applications of software products. 16 experts in the field of digital economy were invited to give an awarding ceremony for the “Starry Sky” demonstration buildings.

Beibei: sign the cooperation agreement for an important project in 90 days

A signing and commencement ceremony for the key projects in the first quarter of 2023 was held in Beijing District on March 30, during which contracts were signed for 46 key projects with a total investment of 22.6 billion yuan. The signed projects cover lots of fields such as intelligent manufacturing, headquarters economy, biomedicine, social livelihood, cultural tourism, and comprehensive development.

The reporter learned at the event that it took only 90 days for Beibei District to sign the cooperation agreement for one of the key projects, the Semiconductor Packaging Equipment Localization project of Zhongke Guangzhi Technology.

Based in Xi’an, Zhongke Guangzhi Technology is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the field of special equipment for semiconductor packaging. When Qin Zhanyang, chairman of Zhongke Guangzhi Technology took a field trip to Beibei District last month, the Beibei People’s Government held several special promotion meetings for the project. City leaders also coordinated efforts to win the project.

“These practical measures show me the confidence and determination of Beibei District to optimize the business environment and wholeheartedly serve the enterprise,” said Qin Zhanyang. The project is in its renovation stage. It’s expected that it will be put into use next month and produce annual revenue of 25 million yuan.

Tongnan: projects come first

74 key projects, with a total investment of about 49 billion yuan, were signed, started, or completed in Tongnan District on March 30, which include urban and rural infrastructure, ecological and environmental protection, intelligent manufacturing, emerging industries, and other fields.

These projects include 20 new projects with a contract amount of 34 billion yuan, 44 projects that have been started with a total planned investment of 13.6 billion yuan, and 10 projects that have been completed and put into operation, with an investment of 1.4 billion yuan.

Guided by the principle of “projects come first”, Tongnan District has carried out business investment activities with a focus on leading industries such as equipment manufacturing, and new chemical materials, and emerging industries like biomedicine and electronic information, to attract investment and push forward the construction of projects this year. It strives to achieve a contract amount of more than 100 billion yuan for the year.

Kaizhou: launch a “spring offensive” to attract investments

As the first batch of EPS recycled plastic pellets produced by Chongqing Hongshu Plastics came off the production line in Lingang Industrial Park in Kaizhou’s Puli New District on March 23, they were transported to the parent company in Sichuan’s Dazhou, Sichuan Hongshu New Material Co., Ltd. before selling in other areas. This is one of the achievements made by Kaizhou District in promoting the integrated development of the Wanzhou-Dazhou-Kaizhou area.
