CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Tegang Ferry in Ciqikou and the Hongyadong-Ciqikou water sightseeing route opened on April 4.

It is understood that the Hongyadong-Ciqikou river tour covers about 18 kilometers and takes around 70 minutes, allowing tourists to enjoy the scenes of popular attractions and landmarks in Chongqing, such as Hongyadong, Chongqing Grand Theatre, CRT Liziba Station, and Ciqikou.

In addition, the route will pass through 13 bridges, such as Qiansimen Bridge, Huanghuayuan Bridge, and Zengjiayan Bridge which are crossing the Jialing River, and the special bridge for Jiahua Rail. Passengers can enjoy the spectacular bridges in Chongqing from a different perspective on the cruise ship.

Tourists can take the water sightseeing route to Dazhulin at the Tegang Ferry of Ciqikou, said Chongqing Passenger Ship General Company.

A one-way ticket for the Hongyadong-Ciqikou water sightseeing route costs 30 yuan, and a one-way ticket for the Ciqikou-Dazhulin water sightseeing route costs 10 yuan. The schedule of the two water sightseeing routes will be adjusted according to the water level, weather conditions, and passenger flow. It’s important to note that Ciqikou Tegang Ferry is near Shijingpo, Shapingba, at some distance from Ciqikou Ancient Town. Tourists can take CRT Line 1, get off at Shijingpo Station, and walk to the ferry in five minutes.
