CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The footpath connecting Huangshaxi and the “Liangjiang” Yuzhong section of Dongshuimen, the Chonggang Yaxian footpath, and the Guankou Village section (in Qingmuguan Town, Shapingba District) of the Jinyun Mountain ecological loop has opened to the public recently.

The reporter learns that 800 million yuan has been invested in improving the 8-kilometer-long Dongshuimen-Huangshaxi footpath and enhancing its shoreline function and environmental, ecological, transportation, and facility systems. Built around cliffs, the Chonggang Yaxian footpath stretches about 3.8 kilometers, with an average height of over 20 meters above the ground. More than 100,000 residents live nearby the Chonggang Yaxian footpath. As one of the green footpaths launched by Shapingba District this year, the Jinyun Mountain ecological loop offers a bird's eye view of the beautiful scenery of western Shapingba.
