CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “The museum looks nice and bright at night. My mom even helped me put on makeup to join this event,” said Feng Yuling, a 6-year-old child dressed in red Han-style clothing.

The Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum held a special event themed "Whispers of the Terracotta Warriors-Night of the Museum”, which involved 80 families from across Chongqing. The event, featuring the exhibition hall of Han Dynasty Sculpture, offers visitors chances to take a journey through the Han Dynasty dating back to over two thousand years, and learn about the clothing, food, housing, and transportation of the people living at that time.

The guide in Han-style clothing led the children into the exhibition hall of Han Dynasty Sculpture and introduced to them the precious cultural relics of the Han Dynasty from different aspects by telling stories. The children also learned about the clothing, diet, transport, architecture, salt production, and etiquette of the Han Dynasty from picture books.

“Participating in such an event at night makes me feel the historical weight of it. I look forward to more activities of this kind in the future.” Zhao Ruixue, a mother told the reporter that she majored in history and was interested in this field. Her daughter, Feng Yuling, has been obsessed with the movie Night at the Museum, so she wanted to participate in the Night of the Museum at Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum starts.

Moreover, Han-style clothing displays and Han-syle clothing-wearing experience activities were available during the Night of the Museum.
