Affected by the rainfall in the upper reaches of the Jialing River, the Yangtze River looked green and clear while the Jialing River looked yellow and muddy, which looks like a “double-flavor hot pot” at their intersection in Chaotianmen Pier.

Experts said it was relatively rare to see an obvious difference between the colors of the two rivers. Affected by the weather conditions in the upper reaches of the two rivers and the sediment content of the two rivers, it usually happens in the annual summer flood season.
