CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Thousand tons of bridge cranes were applied at the Orchard Heavy Cargo Wharf on June 13, marking it a wharf with the largest lifting capacity in the upper reaches of Yangtze River.

At 10:06 that day, a huge crane lifted a transformer weighing 296 tons and sent it to the designated location half an hour later. The transformer, produced by Chongqing ABB Company, will be shipped at the Orchard Heavy Cargo Wharf, and transferred by sea to the Shenzhen East Power Plant Wharf via Zhenjiang Erzhong Wharf. In addition to equipment such as large transformers, cargos such as large gears, large wind power equipment, bridge pole equipment, heavy vehicles can also be lifted by the thousand tons of bridge cranes smoothly, helping to promote the development of Chongqing's manufacturing industry.
