CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- A delegation of Chongqing enterprises took a group trip to foreign countries on June 24, the last day of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.

Led by the Chongqing Municipality Commission of Commerce, a delegation of Chongqing enterprises consisting of businessmen from 24 Chongqing enterprises, departed Urumqi on June 24. They would visit Kazakhstan and Belarus before July 1 to visit new and old friends, discuss business, and participate in commodity exhibitions.

The 24 Chongqing enterprises are mainly manufacturers, producing characteristic and advantageous products in the fields of automobiles, motorcycles & spare parts, biomedicines, industrial machinery, and chemical products.

Based on the investigation in the early stage, the delegation consists of small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises, with higher demand and more accurate service, according to the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce.

During the eight-day visit, the delegation will carry out more than ten collective public affairs and business activities. For example, they will visit relevant local institutions and enterprises and host meetings to strengthen cooperation channels and discuss issues of enterprise and industrial cooperation. At the same time, they will host trade negotiations, build a platform for face-to-face communication, and support the global market expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises in Chongqing.

To implement the activities of China-Belarus "Years of Cooperation", the delegation will also participate in the Chinese Commodities and Services (Belarus) Show, and host the first 2023 Chongqing Global Trade: Chongqing Export Commodities (Belarus) Exhibition between June 29 and July 1.
