CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The adjustment of the train schedule for the third quarter of 2023 will come into force from July 1. According to the news released by Chongqing Railway Station on June 27, Chongqing will have 313.5 pairs of passenger trains in operation, which show an increase of 18.5 pairs compared to the adjustment of the train schedule implemented on April 10.

The new train schedule for the third quarter of 2023 will come with the following changes:

G4562/3 and G4564/1 running from Shiyan East Station to Chongqing North Station along the Wuhan-Shiyan high-speed railway and the Zhengzhou-Chongqing high-speed railway
D8550 running from Guiyang North Station to Chongqing West Station along the Chongqing-Guiyang railway
G8503 running from Neijiang North Station to Chongqing West Station along the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway
G8512/3 running from Chongqing West Station to Chengdu East Station along the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway
K9533/2 and K9531/4 running from Chongqing West Station to Kaili Station along the Chongqing-Guiyang railway and the Shanghai-Kunming railway during peak hours
G9551/4 and G9553/2 running from Chengdu East Station to Wushan Station along the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway and the Zhengzhou-Chongqing high-speed railway.

D1780/79 previously running from Beihai Station to Mianyang Station will be bound for Nanning East Station.
G2231/2 running from Xi’an North Station to Chongqing West Station will be replaced with D1987/6 running from Xi’an North Station to Leshan Station along the Xi'an-Chengdu high-speed railway and the Chengdu-Guiyang high-speed railway.
D2277 previously running from Hankou Station to Chongqing North Station will be bound for Tongnan, and the extended section will wind through the Shanghai-Sichuan railway.
K654/1 and K652/3 previously running from Nanning Station to Lanzhou West Station will leave Zhanjiang Station to Nanchong North Station, and the new route will wind through the Litang-Zhanjiang railway, Hunan-Guangxi railway, Jiaozuo-Liuzhou railway, Huaihua-Hengyang railway, Chongqing-Huaihua railway, Weituo-Jingkou railway, and Lanzhou-Chongqing railway.
D1929/40 previously running from Xi’an North Station to Chengdu East Station will be bound for Shapingba Station, with a new train number, G2241/2. The extended section will lay through the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway.
After the new train schedule comes into force, Chongqing Railway Station will put more personnel in key areas such as ticket offices, elevator entrances, and platforms, provide safety protection and guidance services, implement ticket checking, boarding, and other measures to ensure the smooth and safe travel for passengers.
