CHONGQING (CQNEWS) – The reporter learned from Chongqing City Transportation Development & Investment Group Co., Ltd. that all coaches on Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 5, Line 6, Line 9, Line 10, Loop Line, and Guobo Branch Line operated by Chongqing Rail Transit (Group) Co., Ltd. have activated "HL COLD" and "LOD COLD" functions since July 1. Passengers can choose the coaches with desirable temperatures as needed.

It is understood that “HL COLD” coaches are set at 25 ℃, while “LOD COLD” coaches are set at 27 ℃.

The first half of the trains on Line 2 and Line 3 are "HL COLD" coaches, and the second half are "LOD COLD" coaches. For example, the 1-4 coaches of an 8-coach train are "HL COLD", and the 5-8 coaches are "LOD COLD". The coach number can be found in the upper right corner of both ends of the coaches, such as 020568 (the last digit is the coach number), indicating that this is the 8th coach.

For other lines except for Line 2 and Line 3, coaches can be distinguished by the running directions of trains. The coaches corresponding to Platform Doors 1-12 are "HL COLD", and the coaches corresponding to Platform Doors 13-24 are "LOD COLD".

However, Line 6 is an exception. For trains heading towards Chayuan, coaches corresponding to Platform Doors 1-12 are "HL COLD", and coaches corresponding to Platform Doors 13-24 are"LOD COLD"; while for trains heading towards Beibei, coaches corresponding to Platform Doors 1-12 are "LOD COLD", and coaches corresponding to Platform Doors 13-24 are "HL COLD".
