CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On June 30, local time, the Chongqin-Belarus Trade Cooperation Conference was held in the China-Belarus industrial park during the 2023 Chongqing Global Trade – Chongqing Export Commodities (Belarus) Exhibition.
The business visit to Belarus was the first trip organized by the local government of China after the signing of the Sino-Belarusian economic and trade cooperation agreement, said Xu Xincheng, deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, in his speech. They hoped that this conference would improve mutual understanding, promote mutual trust and further enhance economic and trade cooperation between Chongqing and Belarus.

Shekovich, chairman of the Minsk Trade Union, said that this large-scale, diversified, and lengthy group visit offered new opportunities for face-to-face exchanges on Belarus-China economic and trade cooperation. The two sides have highly complementary industrial advantages and great potential for cooperation, and Chongqing is welcome to make investments and cooperate with local enterprises in Belarus.

During the event, several Belarusian enterprises formed partnerships with Chongqing enterprises. Contracts valued at US$20 million were signed at the signing ceremony, involving auto trade, auto parts, motorcycles, agricultural machinery, and general machinery.
