Chongqing Rail Transit (CRT) had planned to extend the operating hours of many CRT lines to 0:00 to relieve the traffic pressure during holidays; in fact, most of the CRT lines were operating until 2:00 a.m. the next day; a viewing platform was built for visitors near CRT Liziba Station; riverside roads were also equipped with mobile phone charging stations for tourists... A series of tourist-friendly measures in Chongqing were highly praised by netizens.

The tourist-friendly Chongqing won many “firsts” in China last year. According to the latest data from the China Tourism Research Institute, Chongqing ranks first as the most desired destination for Chinese tourists in the post-epidemic era. In the list of "20 Charming Cities in an Extraordinary Decade", Chongqing ranks first in terms of tourist satisfaction in China. In the list of influential national tourism cities in 2022 released by Sohu Tourism, Chongqing ranks first.
