CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Yuan Jiajun, Secretary of CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, declared the start of the Singapore-Chongqing Week in the Chinese Cultural Center of Singapore on the afternoon of July 16. Lin Mingliang, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, Sun Haiyan, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Singapore, Guo Yezhou, Vice Minister of the International Department, Central Committee of CPC, and the city leaders from Chongqing like Chen Mingbo and Luo Lin, participated in the event.

The Singapore-Chongqing Week, hosted by the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, will go on until July 19. During the event, Chongqing and Singapore will carry out business cooperation, cultural exchanges, and investigation trips, such as a visit to Singapore by the Chongqing delegation traditional Chinese medicine, the Chongqing – Singapore Enterprise Exchange Meeting & Western Chongqing Integrated Development Promotion Meeting, and a visit to Singapore by the time-honored food brands in Chongqing.
