CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to the Chongqing Municipal Agriculture and Rural Commission on July 19, Chongqing will hold the first final of Chongqing Hemei Village Basketball Competition, or "CunBA", in Heishan Town of Wansheng Economic Development Zone from July 31 to August 3.

Under the theme of “CunBA, a carnival for ourselves”, the final will be held in the form of a Men’s Five-a-Side basketball tournament and decide the top two teams to participate in the Southwest regional final of the National Hemei CunBA.

Eight basketball teams have been qualified to participate in the final of Chongqing CunBA, including Beibei Tiansheng Basketball Team, Wanzhou Zouma Basketball Team, Dianjiang Shaping Basketball Team, Wansheng Jinqiao Basketball Team, Kaizhou Changsha Basketball Team, Wushan Crispy Plums Basketball Team, Qijiang Basketball Team, and Pengshui Basketball Team.

The four-day final will decide the top two teams to participate in the Southwest regional final of the National Hemei CunBA, which involves teams from Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Tibet. The winning team will reach the national final.

According to the Chongqing Municipal Agriculture and Rural Commission, there will be a wide range of activities in the first Chongqing CunBA Final, such as an exhibition and sales of the local specialty, live streaming marketing for agricultural products, and local cultural performances.
