CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area Animation Film High-quality Development Forum was held in Dongguan, Guangdong from July 20 to 21. The first original animated war film in Chongqing, The Forgotten Oscars, standing out from 130 nominated animated films nationwide, won unanimous praise from the judges, was selected as one of the most anticipated animated films.

As an important activity unit of the 13th China International Film and Television Cartoon Copyright Protection and Trade Expo, this forum has invited delegates from domestic excellent animation film institutions platforms, investment, production, distribution, cinemas, media, etc., as well as frontline animated film creators, experts and scholars. More than 150 industry masters have selected 10 of the most anticipated animated films after evaluating those that are planned to be released.

The ten films selected have different genres of history, fairy tales, fantasy, science fiction, and realism. For the purpose of presenting the current situation and trend of the diversified development of Chinese animated films, The Forgotten Oscars is the only realistic film among the ten films selected.

The person in charge of the production team introduced that it is also the first original film made in Chongqing to win this award since the establishment of the China International Cartoon Expo, which has proved the strength and influence of animated films "made in Chongqing" at home and abroad.
