CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On July 28, according to the Forum on the 40th Anniversary of the Foundation of CCPIT Chongqing Committee, CCPIT Chongqing Committee has established cooperation mechanism with nearly 70 foreign consulates and business associations in Chongqing (Chengdu), and signed a cooperation agreement with 86 overseas friendship organizations, further expanding the global economy and trade “circle of friends”, and making contribution to the development of the high-quality open economy of Chongqing.

In recent years, CCPIT Chongqing Committee has closely focused on the national development and opening up strategies such as jointly building the “Belt and Road”, developing the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and building Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and New International Western Land-sea Corridor to build a more accurate international economic and trade exchange and cooperation platform for enterprises, strengthen international economic and trade communication, effectively carry out supply and demand connection, optimize market business environment, and provide commercial legal services.

In addition, CCPIT Chongqing Committee positively has promoted enterprises to “go broad” to expand international market, organized 17 economic and trade groups and led nearly 200 Chongqing enterprises to visit more than 50 countries such as the United States, Germany, Japan, Israel, Brazil, Ethiopia and Kazakhstan in 5 continents, held or participated in more than 100 individual exhibitions, forums, exchange meetings and fairs, helping Chongqing enterprises sign orders of more than 1 billion US dollars.

“Next, CCPIT Chongqing Committee will continue making contribution to the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, such as implementing the joint meeting mechanism of Sichuan and Chongqing trade promotion system, and speeding up the construction of cooperation mechanisms of the trade promotion system between northeast Chongqing and northeast Sichuan, west Chongqing and South Sichuan, and central Chengdu and Chongqing, and so on,” said He Yi who is the Head of CCPIT Chongqing Committee.
