CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- With a backdrop of Cathay Theater, Daijiaxiang of Yuzhong District, faces the Jialing River and adjoins Hongyangdong on the right. It comes into life as the city advances by leaps and bounds. KAIROUTEI Entertainment Space opened in Daijiaxiang on the morning of August 2. With a total area of 4,000 square meters, the entertainment space is designed based on Keigo Higashino’s The Murder in Kairoutei.

Not far from the main entrance of Daijiaxiang, the entertainment space is located in a red-brick building. This building is one of the 7,200-square-meter ancient buildings retained by the Yuzhong People’s Government.

As a cultural tourism product focusing on immersive experiences during urban renewal, the project aims for a new consumer market for the younger generation. It features all kinds of entertainment, social, and adventurous activities, as well as the integration of virtual and reality through professional scene settings. To be specific, the project covers theatrical performances, themed hotels, internet-famous restaurants, lovely tea shops, and boisterous bars, and corporates classic literature, art, and technology elements. It meets various demands for catering, drinking, traveling, entertaining, purchasing, and housing.
