According to Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, in order to enrich the night consumption patterns, activate the night consumption atmosphere and improve the quality of night economic development, more than 200 night activities have been staged in turn in Chongqing.

In July 2023, Chongqing launched 2023 Chongqing Nightlife Festival, and combined various platforms to carry out night consumption activities: Ele.me created the online night market “Chongqing Nightlife - Ele.me Night Market”, and issued more than 20 million red packets and subsidies; TikTok Life Service launched promotion activities themed on “Fantastic Life” and combined life service merchants to launch online preferential customized group buying activities; CCB Chongqing Branch launched 717 Good Life Festival, summer consumption season as well as red packets, vouchers and 50% off taxi vouchers.

In addition, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce linked various districts, counties, business districts, scenic spots, complexes, and brand businesses to carry out more than 200 special activities such as Chongqing International Beer Music Festival and Nanbin Nightlife Festival, effectively focusing on the trend of consumption upgrading, mining local characteristics and folk culture, and enriching activity contents.

Chongqing International Beer Music Festival will be held at Mexin Red Wine Town, Fuling District on August 11, 2023. At that time, not only Chongqing Beer, scenic spot fresh beer and a variety of drinks will be provided for free, but also activities and performances including wonderful art tour and beer drinking competition will be staged too.
