CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Autumn comes with the fragrance of chrysanthemum. Recently, over 100,000 plants of Cosmos sulphureus have bloomed in Garden Expo Park. The gorgeous flowers come in different colors: orange, yellow, and reddish-orange, forming a stunning golden sea of flowers and attracting numerous residents.

Cosmos sulphureus is an annual cosmos from the Family Asteraceae and the Genus cosmos, featuring multiple sprays and simple or double ligulate flowers. It blooms until the end of August.

To offer visitors a garden abounding with flowers all year round, Garden Expo Park has introduced various flower species and planted different flowers in different seasons in Flower Valley and six flower viewing areas. Since this year, Garden Expo Park has planted tulips, sunflowers, zinnia, cosmos, and other flower varieties, greatly meeting the needs of visitors to appreciate flowers.

Based on the Flower Valley and six flower viewing areas, Garden Expo Park will enhance the quality of landscapes and offer a wide range of featured flower activities. After the flowering phase of Cosmos sulphureus ends, they will replace the flowers with spiderflowers so that visitors can always enjoy beautiful flowers in Garden Expo Park.
