CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing University is the only university in Chongqing listed in the first 33 pilot universities for the national 101 Program. According to the requirements of the program, Chongqing University will spend two years designing high-quality courses and teaching materials and training talents in the field of computer science.

The 101 Program will be implemented by Hongshen Honors School and the College of Computer Science at Chongqing University. Chongqing University has applied for the pilot application of the first batch of textbooks, which is part of the 101 Program. In the autumn term of 2023, the “Data Structure and Algorithms” course will be taught using the prescribed textbooks. In the spring term of 2024, “Data Structure” and “Advanced Practice of Programming” will be taught using the prescribed textbooks and teaching materials.

The university will integrate the latest research methods and achievements in the fields of intelligent energy storage, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent medicine, and brain-like technology with its teaching plans and lessons, to create high-quality teaching cases with the characteristics of the 101 Program and promote their application.
