CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Pickleball, is an interesting and innovative sport that makes you feel like playing tennis on a badminton court with a table tennis bat. The DUPR China Pickleball Grading Competition (Chongqing) was held in the Simple Touch pickleball training field in Yubei, Chongqing from August 26 and August 27.

Pickleball, a classic racket sport, originated in the 1960s. It has been included in the performance events for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Compared with tennis and other traditional racket sports, Pickleball is fun, easy to learn, and suitable for all ages. Pickleball has been popular among Chongqing sports enthusiasts since this summer.

The international pickleball tournament is co-organized by the Chongqing Simple Touch Pickleball Club and Chongqing Monster Tribe Youth Community. DUPR, the only global dynamic rating agency for pickleball players, is introduced at the event. It will scientifically grade the players according to their performance in the tournament. Chongqing is the venue for this national event held in Southwest China.

According to the head of the Chongqing Monster Tribe Youth Community, the Monster Tribe is committed to introducing a positive and healthy social lifestyle to Chongqing youth.
