CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Many higher vocational schools have started the autumn term of 2023 recently. We learned that Chongqing Hailian Vocational Technical College had held a welcome ceremony for the new students.

“Please have your admission notice verified, make payment, and then get your military training clothes and bedding...” Volunteers were offering help to the new students at the school gates.

To ensure smooth registration and make all parents rest assured, the teaching staff of Chongqing Hailian Vocational Technical College, including president Wen Liang, came to the registration site to answer the students' questions face to face.

A series of activities, such as drawing out mystery boxes and writing wishes, were carried out for the welcome ceremony, giving the school a real sense of occasion.

In the badge conferring ceremony, deans of colleges helped the freshmen to wear a school badge and said to them, “From the moment you wear the badge, you are a member of the Hailian Family. Come on!”

“We have teachers in subway and train stations to guide new students,” said Wen Liang. Chongqing Hailian Vocational Technical College enrolled more than 3,100 new students this year.
