CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Many parents visit Lijia Smart Park in Liangjiang New Area with their children to enjoy the rest of their summer holiday. “The Immersive Art Exhibition in the Imperial Palace: A Dream Tour along the River during the Qingming Festival” has been displayed in the park recently, offering visitors a glimpse of ancient Chinese cities.

As the most typical smart park in Chongqing, Lijia Smart Park is filled with intelligent facilities. Both sides of the path in the park are equipped with devices featuring infrared and temperature-sensing technology. They can automatically sense the temperature of the surroundings and the traces of pedestrians, and spray mist to lower the temperature.

“It’s been cool recently, and I like to run along the park. The scenery in the park is beautiful. You can see your sports data on the large screen on the roadside,” said Zeng Qiang, a resident living nearby.

Visitors can witness the “home of the future” in the life pavilion. Here, a white and chubby robot resembling Baymax is making tea for visitors proficiently.

“This robot is called “Tea Master” and its main function is to make tea. It can make tea independently.” Staff member Wang Jing added that visitors can view smart kitchens and smart bookshelves in the life pavilion.

When you say “Turn on the movie mode”, the large screen in the smart living room will play movies for you.

The screen in the smart bedroom shows the sleep duration, heart rate, breathing rate, and even the number of times the user has turned over the last night. Wang Jing said the system can analyze the health status of the user based on the time, heart rate, and other data.

At the smart fun pavilion, visitors can interact with animals in the “African savannah”, experience roller coasters, and witness oceans and the universe through VR devices. The big screen displayed the scene of the great migration of animals on the grassland. A child walked up to the screen and shook hands with the 'lion', but the 'lion' walked away in embarrassment… "Animals can interact with tourists and they may have different reactions to people’s touches.”

Visitors can leave the pavilions by driverless shuttle bus at the bus stop. There is only a safety officer on the bus. When there are obstacles ahead, the system will automatically give a voice reminder and the vehicle will observe the surroundings for a safe lane change. The shuttle bus is a rechargeable green bus with a vehicle perception system consisting of radar and dynamic camera modules. They are the eyes of the bus, which can perceive the surrounding environment and make accurate judgments.” Wang Jing told us that the self-driving shuttle bus is currently being tested and adjusted.
