CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Guiyang-Nanning High-speed Railway was fully put into operation on August 31, which cut the minimal travel time from Chongqingxi to Nanningbei to 5 hours and 6 minutes, and the minimal travel time from Nanningdong to Chongqingxi to 5 hours and 17 minutes.

According to 12306 China Railway, the tickets for direct high-speed trains from Chongqingxi to Nanningbei went on sale on the evening of August 30. The second-class seat tickets for G4859 are 397 yuan per person, the first-class seat tickets 635 yuan per person, and the special set tickets 716 yuan per person.

As a significant part of the Baotou (Yinchuan)-Haikou channels of the high-speed railway network (eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed railways) in China, the Guiyang-Nanning High-speed Railway starts from Longlibei Station, the railway hub in Guiyang, passes through Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, Guangxi’s Hechi City and Nanning City, and ended in Nanningdong Station, the railway hub in Nanning. It covers a total length of 482 kilometers, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

At the early operating stage of the Guiyang-Nanning High-speed Railway, China Railway will arrange weekday routes, weekend routes, and peak period routes. The maximum number of operating trains in a single day will reach 56 sets. Nanning will operate direct trains to Guiyang, Chengdu, and Chongqing.
