CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing released on September 1, 2018, the Special Action Plan for the Improvement in the Industrial Cluster of Intelligent Connected New-energy Vehicle Parts (2023-2027) (Draft) to solicit public comments and suggestions. According to the Plan, Chongqing plans to build up an industrial cluster of intelligent connected new-energy vehicle parts featuring cross-regional integration and cooperation, increase 800 new intelligent connected new-energy vehicle parts enterprises, and achieve a revenue of 700 billion yuan in the field of intelligent connected new-energy vehicle parts.

Following the Plan, Chongqing will focus on power battery systems, intelligent chassis systems, intelligent connected systems, electronic components, automotive software, lightweight parts, and thermal management systems, and make tremendous efforts to strengthen the coordination between vehicle enterprises and parts enterprises, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional parts enterprises, and optimize the industrial spatial layout in western Chongqing.

In terms of industrial spatial layout, Chongqing will support the continuous growth in vehicle production and sales in the urban area, and focus on the development of automotive software, automotive chips, and other basic products. Efforts will also be made to support the eight districts in west Chongqing to build the "pillar" for the development of the intelligent connected new-energy auto parts industry development.
