CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The gorgeous cityscapes of Chongqing can be seen everywhere. On September 18, the award ceremony for the third Chongqing Culture and Tourism Photography & Short Video Contest “A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal” and the photography exhibition launching ceremony took place in Ciqikou Ancient town, Shapingba District. The photography exhibition will last until November 18.

To further promote the development of Chongqing as a culturally powerful city and a world-renowned tourist attraction and showcase the unique charm of Chongqing, the Chongqing Municipal Committee of Culture and Tourism Development held the third Chongqing Culture and Tourism Photography & Short Video Contest “A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal” this March.

Since the event started, the organizer has received a total of 4809 pieces (groups) of photographic works. After careful selection and publicity, 51 works emerged victorious, covering the beauty of the metropolis, Three Gorges, Wujiang River, hot springs, humanities, and countryside, and demonstrating the unique and various natural landscapes and cultural charms of Chongqing.
