Chongqing shooters will participate in three events

Liu Jiangchi, athlete from Chongqing Shooting and Archery Management Center, will represent the Team China in the shooting events of Asian Games and participate in the skeet-shooting individual, team and mixed team competitions.

Liu is 31 years old now, and has been receiving skeet-shooting training for fifteen years. His current coach, Cai Zhiyong, told the reporter that he just went to Beijing last week to visit Liu, who was training in the national team. “He trained in Hangzhou for a week before, and then in Beijing. He will go to Hangzhou on September 23 to make preparations for the game. The national team is very strict and he is under great pressure. He shot 250-300 bullets a day in previous training, which is now less in this week before the game.”

Cai said that Liu is doing well at present, without any problem in his skills, but shooting events require strong nerves. For this reason, he went to Beijing with Liu's wife and a child under one year old to help him relax.
