On Qunar.com, air ticket bookings for popular domestic cities during the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays exceeded 20% of the same period in 2019, and hotel bookings for popular cities increased five times over the same period in 2019. Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Kunming, Haikou, and Xi'an became popular destinations for long-term travel. The hotel bookings for Beijing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Changsha, Xi'an, Nanjing, and Guangzhou have increased more than three times compared to the same period in 2019.

Data released by Tujia shows that during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, B&B bookings increased 1.5 times compared to the same period in 2019, with Chongqing, Dali, and Xi'an ranking among the top three tourist destinations for B&B bookings in China followed by Qingdao, Weihai, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Beihai, Beijing, and Changsha.

Chongqing leads the list of popular Chinese tourist destinations for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, with B&B bookings ranking first, according to the data from all online tourism platforms.

“Chongqing has prepared more than 300 cultural and tourism activities for the upcoming holiday, which cover sightseeing, vacation, entertainment, leisure, parent-child fun, and other travel experiences,” said the official of the Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Development Commission.

For example, Qianjiang will launch the 3rd match-making meeting and the Chinese Paladin 3 Role Playing Tour in Zhuoshui.
