CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing is increasingly tourism-friendly the urbanscape viewing platform of the Qiansimen Bridge officially opened on the morning of September 26, according to the Chongqing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Committee.

Located on the side of Hongyadong at the head of the Qiansimen Bridge, the urbanscape viewing platform of the Qiansimen Bridge constitutes a significant part of the Qiansimen Bridge Quality Enhancement Project.

The viewing platform is a single-story public building with steel trusses as the main structure. It is about 56 meters long and 4.6 to 11.6 meters wide, covering a construction area of about 480 square meters.

As one of the key projects of the Cross-river Bridge Quality Improvement Plan in Central Urban Area and the Two Rivers and Four Banks Improvement Program, the Qiansimen Bridge Quality Enhancement Project covers the construction of a viewing platform and new footbridges, and space optimization at the head of Qiansimen bridge.
