The workers of CCCC First Highway Engineering Group were building keels made of T-section beams at the T-section beam prefabrication site of the second Chongqing-Wuhan High-speed Railway in Beibei District on October 7.

The second Chongqing-Wuhan High-speed Railway is one of the significant ‘rays’ of the Chongqing high-speed railway network consisting of three loop lines, twelve rays, and seven interconnected lines. With a length of 35.53 kilometers and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour, the railway has six lanes in two directions. It is scheduled to be completed and open to traffic in 2024.
