SERES has exported its products to more than 70 countries and regions around the world in total in South America, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe, exported more than 500,000 vehicles in total, and gradually established more than 1,000 marketing service networks, 3 marketing service centers, and 8 KD assembly plants overseas.

Especially in the past two years, SERES has actively explored the “north-south” markets. To the north, it sold its products to the Central Asian (Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan) and Russian markets in bulk. As one of the first automotive companies in China to obtain EU certification, it has also deeply operated in Germany, Spain, Italy and other markets for many years, and its FENGON 580 has been sold in Germany and Russia in 2018.

To the south, it sold its products to the markets of Vietnam, Pakistan, Philippines and Sri Lanka in Southeast Asia in bulk. The Indonesian market, in particular, has become one of the regions it has deeply operated overseas. SERES has invested 150 million dollars in Indonesia to establish a modern automotive industrial base which was formally put into operation and realized batch sales in 2018.

In these countries, the vehicles “made in Chongqing” have won widespread praise. PT.PTYUNINA, an Indonesian dealer, said that the stable product quality and intelligent technology of SERES have greatly guaranteed the production capacity of the factory and driven the employment of local workers, and hoped to introduce more advanced technologies in the Indonesia factory to cope with market challenges in the future.

Uzbekistan distributor King Garment Textile has placed a bulk order of Landian E5 and desired to increase cooperation to expand the sales channels and enhance the market influence; and hoped to provide better solutions for local customers with the expertise and technical support of SERES.

SERES shares development opportunities, and exports products to achieve volume and price rise

In April 2019, the customized “land-sea new corridor” cargo train of SERES, with 25 containers in total, carrying auto parts with a value of more than 5 million yuan, started from Chongqing Tuanjiecun Station to Guangxi Beibu Gulf, and then arrived at Jakarta Port in Indonesia by sea cargo ship.

The relevant person in charge of SERES said that through the traditional river-sea combined transport mode, it took 30 days, and through the new land-sea new corridor, it only took about 18 days, so the transportation efficiency was greatly improved, which has gained valuable time for localized production and terminal sales.

Over the past five years, the changes in the goods transported by and routes along the land-sea new corridor have also witnessed the high-quality development process of SERES in the overseas market.

In terms of quantity, from 200 containers in 2019 to 5,000 containers in 2022, it realized an increase of 25 times; in terms of quality, the exported models have jumped from low-end micro commercial vehicles to high-end intelligent electric vehicles, and the export price has increased from 5,000 dollars to a maximum of more than 40,000 dollars, especially SERES 5 exported to Europe realized the terminal retail price of more than 60,000 dollars, and the export market has gradually upgraded from the Asian, African and Latin American markets to Germany, France and other European markets.

Zhang Xinghai said that in the future, SERES will continue establishing super alliances with overseas partners, discuss development strategies, jointly build the “Belt and Road”, share development results, and promote the construction of the “Belt and Road” in the direction of high-quality development, including using the product advantages of SERES electric vehicles and FENGON passenger cars, relying on the marketing companies established in Europe and the sales service centers established in Africa, to achieve the upward development of its brand, and relying on the production base in Indonesia to radiate to Southeast Asia and surrounding markets, laying a solid foundation for its international layout.
