CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- "These are all built by our students!" The festival is a brainstorming session relying on the graduation designs from six major universities in the southwest region, said Hu Xin, the person in charge of the Building Construction Festival of Chongqing Metropolitan College of Science and Technology. It took more than one month for students to design and build the constructions. There will be nearly one week for construction and improvement after the opening ceremony.

A total of nine teams from the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering of Chongqing Metropolitan College of Science and Technology have qualified for the final competition. The event is a mode of practical education that aims to push forward communication and cooperation in practical teaching between universities and enterprises in southwest China, and promote academic research and practical innovation, said Hu Xin. She hoped that the event would produce more talent and provide intellectual support for the development of the construction industry.
