BIM technology establishes a shared digital information model, which realizes real-time collaboration among designers, engineers, and construction personnel, avoiding conflicts in operations due to information failure. The technology also enables virtual modeling and simulation prediction, which eliminate up to 40% of the changes originally budgeted.

The 156 Digital and Intelligent Project Management Platform, developed by China Railway Construction Group, based on cloud computing, 5G, BIM, Internet of Things, and other advanced technologies, integrates 46 intelligent construction modules and adopts intelligent labor, intelligent materials, intelligent progress, intelligent monitoring, intelligent scheduling, intelligent equipment, and multi-source data integration to achieve efficient and high-quality management.

Thanks to digital construction, the overall construction progress of the Chongqingdong Railway Station project is ahead of schedule. According to Chongqing Railway Investment Group, more than 80% of the annual investment task for the construction of Chongqingdong Railway Station buildings and supporting facilities was completed in the first three quarters of this year, and the progress of important sub-projects is four months ahead of the schedule.
