CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 2023 Chongqing Mountain Laoying Trail Running Race was held on the first weekend of November 2023, attracting 1,000 trail running athletes and enthusiasts from all over the country gathered to offer an exciting race in the Mountain Laoying.

With the theme of “Enjoy Trail Running in Qijiang”, the 2023 Chongqing Mountain Laoying Trail Running Race is co-organized by the Chongqing Sports Bureau and the Chongqing Qijiang People’s Government. There are three groups in the competition: Pterosaur 50KM, Stegosaurus 25KM, and Brontosaurus 10KM.

The event began at 8:00 a.m. The participants ran from Xincheng Hotel, and went up the mountain along Sanqiao Village, Shilong Temple, Xinwafang, and Yinglu Village, passing through Laoying Rulai, Baiyunguan, Lianhua Baozhai, Sanjiaoshi, Tianshen Temple, and other featured attractions, immersed in the card of the mountain is majestic, perennial cloud curls, the beautiful scenery of the old Ying Mountain, and enjoying the beautiful scene of misty Mountain Laoying.

Many beginners of trail running in the 10KM group benefited from the game and experienced the charm of the combination of nature and sports.

To allow the participant to replenish energy in the game and finish the race without any burden, five food supply points and one water supply point were set up along the competition route, offering water, drinks, fruits, and special food like Qijiang Beidu Fish, Roasted Whole Lamb, Dongxi Black Duck, Lamb Soup, Mutton Kebabs, and Sour Radish and Duck Soup.
